Consider VDS options in New York for projects serving users in and around the United States. These servers can host a business website, customer application, API, or regional test environment. Keeping the server close to users matters, but you should also consider the systems your application connects to. Location depends on how your project is used as much as on the hardware.
Yaman Hosting's USA VDS category is hosted in New York. Compare AMD processor options, SSD storage, and 2–16 GB RAM plans in the table. Choose these products because they suit your audience and resource needs, not simply because you are looking for a server in the USA. For a Türkiye-focused project, also consider Istanbul; for a UK-focused application, look at London.
North America is a large region; a server in New York cannot be expected to reach users in every city with the same latency. User locations, internet providers, and network routes affect the result. Reviewing visitor distribution is therefore more useful for a regional project than choosing by continent alone. Use existing measurements in your decision if you have them.
Application administrators may be in Türkiye while customers are in the USA. In that case, the latency you experience connecting to the server differs from your customers' experience using the website. Where possible, test from connections that represent actual user locations. Our server locations page lets you review Istanbul, London, and New York services together. Tell us how your users are distributed, and we can compare the options.
The USA category includes AMD Ryzen- and EPYC-based plans. Processor details are shown separately in each product row; do not assume all plans use the same model. Consider the CPU model, RAM capacity, and storage alongside vCPU count. Two plans with the same memory do not necessarily produce identical results across different workloads.
The CPU may be more important for a compute-intensive application, while memory and storage may take priority for a large database. If you run several services, assess their total consumption together. Share your current server's CPU usage and behavior during peak hours for help choosing a plan. vCPU count does not mean the entire physical processor is dedicated to you; ask separately about service terms for prolonged intensive usage.
You can deploy a web application for USA visitors on a New York server. Manage the software needed for a membership system, client portal, or data-providing API in your own operating system environment. VDS offers more configuration flexibility than a ready-made hosting account for custom services and application requirements. It also brings greater maintenance and update responsibilities.
When installing the application, list its database, file storage, and connections to external services. Do not stop at loading one page; test the actions users perform frequently. Login, search, and file uploads may use different resources. If you plan to install a control panel, account for operating system compatibility and licensing. Having a panel does not mean application security or backups are provided automatically.
If the application is in New York and the database is in Türkiye, every query crosses an intercontinental connection. Waiting times can accumulate when a page makes many queries in sequence. Moving only the web server to the USA may therefore fail to deliver the expected result. You may need to keep frequently communicating applications and data services in the same region or reduce the number of requests between them.
Review file services, authentication, and third-party connections alongside the database when assessing your existing setup. Measure how long each request takes first. Appropriate caching can reduce repetition, but not every piece of data can be cached. User-specific or frequently changing information must remain current. Identifying dependencies between services before building a multi-region setup reduces connection problems later.
USA VDS plans offer 2–16 GB RAM. Include the operating system, web server, database, and supporting tools in your memory calculations. Your application's recommended minimum may not cover the entire server's requirements. Consumption during peak hours, batch jobs, and increases during data transfers all affect the choice of plan.
When choosing SSD capacity, consider growing databases, logs, and updates alongside current file sizes. Local backups and temporary export files also consume space. Monitoring disk usage regularly helps prevent problems such as an application being unable to write records. To measure your memory requirements, see our RAM capacity guide and share your current usage with us to compare plans.
You can manage a USA server over the internet from Türkiye. The connection method depends on your operating system and setup. SSH on Linux and Remote Desktop on appropriately configured Windows installations are common options. Check at checkout whether your required operating system and version are available, and include licensed options in the total cost.
Intercontinental distance can be noticeable, particularly in interactive administration sessions. Do not equate your remote management experience with the speed customers experience accessing the application. Protect connection credentials and open management access only as needed. If you use Windows, our Remote Desktop connection guide can help you get started. Regularly tracking operating system and application updates after setup is also part of server administration.
For applications distributing videos, archives, or large files, monthly data transfer matters as much as storage capacity. Port speed does not imply a particular traffic allowance or constant transfer speed to every destination. Network conditions, the destination system, and concurrent connections can affect the result. If you expect heavy transfers on USA VDS, tell us your monthly estimate and ask about traffic coverage.
Sending backups to another region, synchronizing files between servers, and updating applications also consume traffic. These activities can be difficult to estimate from website visitor counts alone. Consider how often large files will be downloaded and changed. Appropriate compression and caching can reduce unnecessary repetition. Treat storage and traffic as separate requirements when choosing a plan.
A test server in New York can help examine your application's USA connections and communication with external services. Try new versions in an environment separate from production. Decide upfront which user behavior the test will represent; one homepage request does not show the regional performance of the whole application. Include login, search, data entry, and file operations.
Operating in several locations does not automatically create an uninterrupted service. You must separately plan which server holds current data, how files synchronize, and what happens when a region becomes inaccessible. Avoid unnecessary use of real customer details in test data. Include interregional traffic and management work in the budget. An overly complex setup for a simple application can increase maintenance demands.
Hosting a server abroad does not change your responsibilities for access and data security. Keep the operating system updated, disable unnecessary services, and restrict administrator accounts to people who need them. Do not store application passwords or private keys in publicly accessible files. Also check that debugging screens are not left enabled in production.
Keep a backup of important files and your database independently of the server. Using a second server in another country does not itself establish a backup routine; you need to know which data is copied, how often, and how restoration works. Test backups regularly to ensure they can be opened. Make sure you have a usable copy before reinstalling the server, performing a major version upgrade, or migrating data.
Before migration, list website files, databases, domains, email, and scheduled tasks. Record software versions and the external services your application uses. Prepare the environment on the new server and perform a trial restore from backup. Check user login, file uploads, and important business processes before planning the final transition.
During a DNS change, requests may reach the old and new servers differently for a while. For applications that continuously write data, decide beforehand how the final transfer will work. Preserve the relevant DNS records if email stays where it is. External services that use the server IP may require allowlist changes. Do not shut down the old environment immediately; retain a rollback option until verification is complete. Contact us with your software and data size for migration support information.
Compare USA VDS prices alongside the processor model, vCPU, RAM, and SSD capacity. Exchange rates, the selected billing period, and any licenses or additional services may affect the total. You can review your selection's total before paying at checkout. Our annual VDS promotion offers 12 months of use for the price of 10; explore annual billing in the client area.
Measure resource consumption again as your project grows. A larger plan alone may not resolve problems caused by application queries or intercontinental data connections. Share current usage and desired capacity in your support ticket. Ask beforehand how a plan change is carried out and whether it requires reinstallation or migration. Working from a current backup and planning transition checks makes maintaining a stable application easier.

It can work, but every request between the application and database travels across an intercontinental connection. Applications making many queries may experience additional latency. We recommend planning connected services together.
