If you serve visitors or customers in the UK, consider VDS options hosted in London. They can support a regional website, membership application, API service, or access testing from another country. Having the server close to your audience matters for connection latency. However, rather than deciding by country name alone, also consider the other services your application communicates with.
Yaman Hosting's UK VDS plans are hosted in London. Choose the capacity you need from Intel Xeon processors, SSD storage, and different RAM options. This category does not use the same hardware as the Ryzen or NVMe plans in Türkiye. Comparing the processor, memory type, and disk details in each product row alongside the price makes it clearer what you are buying.
Publishing a website in English does not mean your visitors will necessarily come from the UK. When deciding on a server location, review your current visitor distribution, target market, and application usage hours. London may suit a UK-focused project, while comparing Istanbul is more useful if most users are in Türkiye. We also have a separate New York category for North America.
Do not rely on a test from one connection when assessing a location change. Different internet providers may use different network routes. A visitor's experience may differ from the speed of your administration connection. Support your regional choice with measurements that reflect actual website usage. Our locations page lets you review services in all three regions and the relevant plan links together.
The London category offers Intel Xeon E5-2680 v2 processors, DDR3 RAM, and SSD storage. Plans ranging from 2–16 GB RAM are shown in the table. Do not assume these plans and a Türkiye VDS with the same memory will perform identically in all conditions; processor generations and storage types differ. Your application's system requirements provide a starting point for comparison.
If a web server, database, and control panel will run together, calculate their total resource requirements. Allow disk space for the operating system and updates too. Looking at the resource table before the plan name is especially important when moving from an existing server. Tell us your current CPU, RAM, and storage usage so we can assess the London options for your project.
You can host your application in London if you provide a company website, product catalog, customer portal, or membership service to UK customers. On a VDS, you install the web server and required software to suit your own needs. Multiple websites with different domains can also be managed in the same environment; account for their total resource consumption and how they may affect one another.
Renting a server does not mean your website software will be installed automatically or managed continuously. Establish responsibilities for setup, updates, and backups from the outset. If you will use a control panel, check operating system compatibility and license costs as well. If you prefer a ready-to-use hosting environment, compare our web hosting options in terms of management requirements; panel-based hosting may be easier for a small website without custom server needs.
If your application runs in London while its database remains in another country or continent, every database request adds network travel time. These delays can accumulate on pages making many sequential queries. Moving only the web server does not therefore always deliver the expected speed improvement. Evaluate the application, database, and file services together.
Keeping the application and database on the same VDS can simplify management at first. As the workload grows, separating services may become necessary; then you should reassess connectivity and permissions between servers. During testing, measure login, search, file uploads, and steps involving external services too. A fast homepage does not prove that every operation runs equally quickly.
A test server in another country can help you examine your application's regional connections. Use London VDS to try new versions and measure communication with Europe- or UK-focused services. Separating testing from production lets you review changes without affecting the application your customers use. Record required software versions and connection addresses before setup.
Avoid unnecessarily using real customer data in the test environment. Restrict permissions instead of leaving administration screens openly accessible. When testing regional access, follow the other party's terms and the permitted testing scope. Recheck file paths, scheduled tasks, and database connections when transferring test results to production. You must separately verify that an application working under a light load with test data is ready for real traffic.
Start with the version supported by your application when choosing an operating system for UK VDS. The control panel, database, and additional services must be compatible with the same version. Available operating systems and paid license options are shown at checkout. If the version you need is not listed, contact us before purchasing to avoid a choice that requires reinstallation later.
SSH can manage Linux, while Remote Desktop is available on appropriately configured Windows installations. Hosting the server in another country does not reduce the importance of administrator account security. Protect credentials, remove unused accounts, and keep track of updates. If you use a control panel, include its RAM consumption and license in your calculations. Installing a panel does not eliminate regular maintenance and backups.
Network port speed and monthly traffic volume are different measures. The port figure does not guarantee the same uninterrupted transfer speed to every user and destination. Network routing, the destination server, and shared connections can affect actual throughput. If you plan large-scale file distribution or regular data transfers, state your expected monthly traffic before ordering.
Include backups, updates, and synchronization between servers in your traffic estimate, not only website visitors. Frequently transferring large files to another region can generate substantial traffic even for an otherwise quiet website. Ask us about the UK plan's traffic allowance and usage terms. Do not assume an unspecified allowance is unlimited; describe high-transfer scenarios explicitly.
Before migrating, list files, databases, domains, mail records, and scheduled jobs. Record software versions and take a verified backup. After setting up the application on the new London server, test more than its appearance: check login, forms, uploads, and connections to payment providers. External services that register your IP address may need to be updated.
Change DNS after the final checks. Preserve mail records if email will remain elsewhere. Track which server receives new data during the transition, and decide in advance how the final synchronization will work. Do not shut down the old environment until the checks are complete. For information about migration support, send us your website platform, total data size, and control panel.
Establish a separate backup routine for important data on your UK server. In a database-driven application, files and records should reflect the same working state. A backup stored only on the same VDS may be insufficient if the server becomes inaccessible. A copy in another environment increases your recovery options; base backup frequency on how quickly the data changes.
If you are considering London as a backup destination for another project, discuss capacity, traffic, and service terms beforehand. Restrict access to the backup copy as carefully as to the primary server. Test restoration regularly to confirm files open and the application runs. Separately assess whether storing data across countries suits your project; choosing a location does not resolve every data storage requirement on its own.
Evaluate UK VDS prices together with RAM, vCPU, and SSD allocations. The list shows monthly amounts; billing period, exchange rates, and additional licenses may affect the total. Review your selection's total on the payment screen before completing the order. For a server you plan to use long term, consider renewals and additional service needs, not just the first month.
Our annual VDS promotion lets you pay for 10 months and use the service for 12. Once you have selected a plan, review annual billing in the client area. There is no need to choose a larger plan just because of the promotion before assessing your application's capacity requirements. Include operating system, control panel, and backup costs, and decide who will manage the server before ordering.
As your application grows, measure current consumption before considering a plan change. Insufficient memory, CPU-intensive work, a full disk, and external service delays are different issues. More visitors alone does not identify which resource needs upgrading. Record when the problem occurs, which operations slow down, and recent changes.
Include the operating system, application name, and resource usage in your support request. This gives us a clearer basis for comparing suitable London plans. Find out in advance how an upgrade is performed and whether it requires migration or reinstallation. Take a current backup before the change. If you are considering a different location, include application data connections and DNS configuration in the plan.

Contact usThis category is hosted in London. You can also compare Istanbul for Türkiye and New York for the USA on our locations page.
No. This category uses SSD storage and DDR3 memory. Türkiye VDS and Ryzen VDS use different hardware; compare specifications in the product tables.
Yes. You can manage it over the internet using an appropriate connection method. Your connection and network route may affect latency.
No. Visitor locations, network routes, and the services your application connects to affect the result. Also consider Istanbul for projects with mainly Turkish users.
Ask us about traffic coverage and usage terms before ordering. Share your expected monthly volume if you plan heavy file transfers; do not confuse port speed with a traffic limit.

The annual VDS promotion also covers UK VDS. Pay for 10 months and use it for 12; review your total for the selected billing period and additional services at checkout.
No. Test the new environment, complete the final data transfer, and check the DNS transition. Keeping the old environment accessible for a rollback period is useful.
