Trailer license is a type of license that allows you to use Windows servers for free for 180 days. You can easily extend the license before the license expires at the end of 180 days.
How can I extend the license period?
You can extend your license period by 180 days by following the simple steps we will show you before the license expires.
- Type CMD in the search field in the Start menu.
- Right click on CMD and select Run as administrator.
- In the command prompt that opens, type the command "
slmgr –rearm" and press Enter. - Restart your computer.
Note: You can extend your license period by a total of 900 days (2 years and 6 months) free of charge by repeating this process 5 times.
